Munich Quantum Software Forum
Quantum computing is becoming a reality and, with recent accomplishments, software for this promising technology is becoming key for successful utilization. Numerous players introduce new software solutions frequently.
The MQSF brings together the “who’s who” in quantum computing software. By connecting leading researchers, developers, and decision makers, the forum fosters the exchange of ideas, showcases state-of-the-art software solutions, and facilitates discussions about the future direction of the quantum software ecosystem.
Program
For the fourth time, the MQSF brings together researchers, industry leaders, innovators, and practitioners to advance the rapidly evolving field of quantum software.
The forum features renowned representatives from industry, startups, and academia. Our main speakers will present state-of-the-art quantum software and discuss the most recent developments in the field. In addition, the forum will feature numerous software pitches, i.e., presentations of new tools and features both on stage and in dedicated poster sessions.
Hosted at the center of Munich’s academic and industrial ecosystem, MQSF provides a dedicated platform for discussing cutting-edge compiler technologies, programming models, applications, system-level software for quantum computing, and more.
Building on three successful editions, MQSF has grown substantially year after year and has established itself as one of the most sought-after quantum software events in Europe and beyond.
The full program will be announced in time. On the right-hand side, you can already find the confirmed speakers.

Call for Software Pitches
At the forum, we will have a limited number of slots available for software pitches, i.e., presentations of new software tools and/or new software features. Accordingly, we kindly invite you to submit corresponding proposals for these pitches. All accepted software pitches will get the opportunity to
briefly pitch their tool in a dedicated session and
present a corresponding poster, e.g., during the breaks of the event.
If you are interested in a software pitch, please prepare a brief proposal including
title of the software pitch, as well as
abstract of the tool you plan to present (max. 200 words).
Applications for software pitches will open in July 2026.
Registration
The forum will take place at the Backstage Arena in the heart of Munich—a city with a vibrant quantum computing community, home of the Munich Quantum Valley, and several key players “in the neighborhood”. More detailed information on the venue and logistics will be provided in due course.
Registration for the event will open in July 2026.
Stay tuned for updates!

Organization
The Munich Quantum Software Forum 2026 is organized by MQSC, and supported by the Chair of Design Automation of Technical University of Munich as well as the Munich Quantum Valley.
Call for Sponsors
Thus far, all editions of the MQSF have been funded by projects and investments of the organizers—an approach that, unfortunately, is no longer sustainable. To ensure that MQSF continues in a sustainable and professional fashion—while maintaining high-quality organization, broad accessibility, and long-term stability—we are, for the first time, launching a formal sponsorship program.
Sponsors
The Munich Quantum Software Forum would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors. Many thanks for making this event happen! If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please check out the options and reach out to us.
